Bezel Engagement Rings
Wedding Band Styling Inspiration for a Bezel Set Engagement Ring
Have an engagement ring with bezel setting but aren’t sure what wedding band to pair it with? Luckily, we don’t just offer engagement rings, we also design wedding bands. As with our bezel ring collection, our selection of wedding bands spans eras, styles, and shapes so you can decide what works for you. Here are some of designer Melanie’s favorite wedding stacks featuring a bezel set diamond ring.
Formation Ring & Perspective Band
Why it works: We love pairing a delicate engagement ring with a chunky wedding band, and the contrast between the Formation Rings’s slender gold band and the larger diamonds of the Perspective Band hits this mark. The Formation Ring has a high-profile bezel setting so the sizable accent diamonds of the Perspective Band can rest slightly underneath the focal stone. The oval cut accent stones mirror the oval cut of the focal stone, and the bezel setting only emphasizes this repetition further. This repetition is made even more interesting by differing directions: an east-west set focal, and north-south set accents.
Caldera Ring & Amplify Band
Why it works: The Caldera Ring, with its soft facets, slender band, and delicate bezel pairs perfectly with the dramatic and sculpted Amplify Band. Together, they create harmonious tension. The mirrored gold of the Amplify Band highlights the gold framework of the Caldera’s bezel setting, all while gradually dipping around the focal stone, incorporating a sliver of negative space between them. This bubbled band is distinctly modern. Because the bezel is a timeless setting, this wedding stack appears far more modern with the Amplify Band than if the Caldera had been paired with a more delicate wedding band.
Caldera Ring & Asscher Cut Diamond Band
Why it Works: While the Amplify Band causes the Caldera Ring to lean more modern, the Asscher Cut Diamond Band causes the Caldera to appear far more antique. Both rings in this stack feature antique diamond cuts and delicate details. Rather than build balance through contrast, these rings match each other’s energy to create a softer stack. The Caldera Ring also features hidden diamonds. The angular v-shape of this hidden halo mirrors the sharp points of these asscher cut accents.
Circlet Ring & Curved Wisp Band
Why it Works: It’s hard not to see how this works! We love how the Curved Wisp Band mirrors the exact curves of the Circlet Ring’s bezel setting. These rings truly appear to fit together like pieces of a puzzle. The antique side stones of the Circlet Ring work alongside the more modern leaning pave wedding band, for a stack that can be either modern or antique depending on the context. If you like the look of a snug fit, we recommend a curved band. Because a bezel ring has a low profile setting, a band that doesn’t dip around the focal stone will require incorporating more negative space within the stack.
Pensive Ring & Petite Diamond Distance Band
Why it works: This wedding stack is defined by romantic and delicate diamond details. Because of our dynamic stonework and barely-there bands, each diamond accent featured in the Pensive Ring and the Petite Diamond Distance Band appears to float around your finger. Because the Pensive Ring features a low profile bezel setting, we incorporate negative space between the bands. However, this helps draw attention to each delicate diamond. The soft facets of the oval rose cut diamond tie the look together, with a bezel setting wrapping it all up in a ribbon.
Edifice Ring & Petite Many Moons Band
Why it works: The way in which the accent diamonds of the Petite Many Moons Band are set causes them almost to appear as tiny bezels. We love how this emphasizes the industrial simplicity of the Edifice Ring’s bezel setting. While this stack is minimalistic, it is anything but boring, incorporating tension by separating the round cut repetition with a band of negative space.
Edifice Ring & Garden Ring
Why it Works: Rather than highlight the industrial minimalism of this bezel setting, pairing the Edifice Ring with the Garden Ring brings attention to the slender band, soft rose cut facets, and the delicate way our bezels frame any focal stone. The Garden Ring is unconventionally curved, featuring two gold bands that crest, dip, and intersect. While there is negative space between this bezel diamond ring and wedding band, the arcing and accented bands of the Garden Ring break up this space in a whimsical way.
Construct Ring & Curved Wisp Band & Coronet Band
Why it works: Who says you can’t add three rings to your wedding stack? We love the way the Curved Wisp Band sits flush with the Construct Ring, imperfectly dipping for this emerald focal stone. Because the wisp band touches both the Construct Ring and the Coronet Band, it almost appears as one large ring with three distinct elements. The bezel setting emphasizes the warming gold details found throughout the stack.
Pensive Ring & Curved Tinsel Band & Wavelet Band
Why it works: Once again, we’ve matched a round focal stone with rounded accent stones for a cohesive stack. The Pensive Ring works well with both the Curved Tinsel Band and the Wavelet Band because each grouping of accent stones incorporates movement. While the Pensive’s accent clusters feature leveled stones, both the Curved Tinsel Band and the Wavelet Band use alternating stone sizes to create weightlessness. The bezel setting serves to ground this buoyant stack.
Cheval Ring & Collide Band
Why it works: Pairing the Cheval Ring with the Collide Band highlights the delicate and romantic metalwork of both rings in this stack. The bezel setting of the Cheval Ring mirrors the intersecting waves of the Collide Band. While this low profile bezel does require some negative space between the focal stone and the band, the intricate pattern of the Collide Band breaks up this space, creating tiny cutouts along your finger, dipping to make way for both accent diamonds and the focal stone.
